At Penlago, we strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for our guests to embark on their health and wellness journey. However, we do have certain restrictions in place for those who are not eligible for our fasting program.

Pregnant Women

Due to the specific nutritional needs of expectant mothers and their growing babies, we do not allow pregnant women to attend our fasting program in Jamaica. It is important for pregnant women to receive proper nutrition and care during this crucial time.

Recovering from a Drug Addiction

We do not allow individuals who are currently recovering from a drug addiction to attend our fasting retreat in Jamaica. It is important for individuals in recovery to receive proper medical care and support, and fasting may not be suitable for their current health and wellness needs.

Eating Disorders

Individuals with eating disorders may not be eligible for our fasting program due to the potential risks and complications associated with fasting. It is important for individuals with eating disorders to receive specialized care and support that meets their unique needs.

People Under 18 and Over 75:

For safety reasons, we do not allow individuals under the age of 18 or over the age of 75 to attend our fasting program. These age groups may have specific nutritional needs or medical concerns that require specialized care.

People over 375 Pounds (170kg | 26.7 stone):

Due to safety concerns, individuals over the weight of 375 pounds may not be eligible for our fasting program. It is important for these individuals to receive specialized medical care and support to manage their weight and health.

Serious Cardiovascular Problems:

Individuals with serious cardiovascular problems may not be eligible for our fasting program due to the potential risks and complications associated with fasting. It is important for individuals with cardiovascular problems to receive specialized medical care and support that meets their unique needs.

Extreme Illnesses:

Individuals with extreme illnesses may not be eligible for our fasting program due to the potential risks and complications associated with fasting. It is important for individuals with extreme illnesses to receive specialized medical care and support that meets their unique needs.
